Kylie Minogue wins her first Grammy in 20 years

<p>Kylie Minogue is set to return to TV with her own special that will highlight her incredible career. </p> <p>The iconic singer will feature in British broadcaster ITV's <em>An Audience With… </em>show at The Royal Albert Hall in London. </p> <p>"It's been hard to keep this one a secret... Neighbours icons reunite

<p>Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan are planning a small-screen reunion.</p> <p>The Neighbours icons are reuniting for a special episode of the hit BBC sitcom <em>Ghosts</em> as part of this year’s comic relief fundraiser.</p> <p>It’s been 37 years since the pair first starred as Charlene and Scott on Neighbours, and they will take on new roles in the one-off special of <em>Ghosts</em>.</p> <p>Kylie and Jason, who were previously romantically involved, have already shot the episode, according to The Sun, with the show set to air on Friday, March 17.</p> <p>The episode of <em>Ghosts</em>, which portrays a group of spirits haunting a country house, will reportedly include nods to their pop career, including their 1988 duet <em>Especially For You</em>.</p> <p>A TV insider told<em> The Sun</em>, “Getting Kylie and Jason back together is a real coup, and the results are hilarious.”</p> <p>“The episode is really tongue in cheek and they crack gags about their history and music.</p> <p>“It was all kept hush-hush on set to keep the secret that they were both reuniting for the show.”</p> <p>The pair also appeared on screen together in 2022 in what was thought to be the end of an era, the final episode of <em>Neighbours</em>.</p> <p>Jason and Kylie appeared in a brief cameo in the last episode of the soap, which has since been renewed for a new run starting 2023.</p> <p>Kylie parted ways with <em>Neighbours</em> in June 1988, having become the first person to win four Logie Awards in one year and the youngest ever recipient of a Gold Logie.</p> <p>She furthered her career and became a pop sensation, selling more than 80 million albums worldwide.</p> <p>Jason left Neighbours in 1989 and, like Kylie, pursued a pop career. Although he wasn’t as successful as his on-screen love, he had a string of hits, including <em>Too Many Broken Hearts </em>and <em>Sealed With A Kiss</em>.</p> <p>The two stars dated from 1986 to 1989.</p> <p>They were so popular at the time that they recorded the Christmas Number 1 single Especially For You.</p> <p>In 2016, Jason told Mirror, “It was an extremely painful parting of the ways and, without a doubt, I took a long time to recover from it. Years, definitely.”</p> <p>Kylie then went on to date the late INXS frontman, Michael Hutchence. "Super secret": Dannii Minogue’s stunning love glow

<p>Dannii Minogue has taken fans by surprise as she attended a WNBA game on Saturday. </p> <p>Dannii watched the game alongside her partner, music producer Adrian Newman, sporting a patterned pink ensemble, highlights in her hair, and a glowing complexion. Meanwhile, he donned a denim jacket and voluminous locks. </p> <p>The couple, who typically keep such a low profile that Adrian is often referred to as Dannii’s “secret” boyfriend, drew eyes from all around with their courtside chit chat. </p> <p>Last year, when asked about her partner on KIIS FM's <em>Kyle & Jackie O Show</em>, Dannii opened up about her near decade-long romance with Adrian. </p> <p>“'It's not a secret!” She corrected Kyle, who’d enquired about her supposedly secret new partner, “you ask me this every time, we've been going out for nine years!”</p> <p>“Every time anyone prints a picture of him, they go ‘secret man’, ‘never seen’. He’s just not interested in anything to do with the public eye.”</p> <p>“But that doesn’t stop the public wanting to know everything about him,” Kyle pointed out, while his co-host, Jackie, praised Dannii’s decision to keep things private. </p> <p>After Dannii shared that it takes a lot of stealth to maintain their low-key status, Jackie exclaimed, “nine years! That’s a good effort.”</p> <p>The singer, who parted with her previous partner Kris Smith (with whom she shares son Ethan, born in 2010) in 2012, is widely believed to have been with Adrian since 2014. The pair made their first public appearance together at the men’s final match of the Australian Open that year.</p> <p>Despite the privacy of their relationship, Dannii has offered a few insights in the past, telling <em>The Sun</em> in 2018, “I have a beautiful boyfriend. I never say anything about him, we are super private. I’m just in the perfect moment.</p> <p>"Everything is good, in love, family, and health. Everything is ticking the box. It's the most beautiful bubble. I don't want it to end."</p> <p>In that same year, Dannii confessed to <em>Who Magazine</em> that “we don't talk about our relationship. We just keep that super private. Dannii Minogue reveals the challenges she faced while filming Young Talent Time

<p>Dannii Minogue has shared the challenges she faced while appearing on <em>Young Talent Time</em> as a child. </p> <p>Speaking with Kyle and Jackie O, the 50-year-old entertainer said she felt immense pressure to balance her school work and time spent at rehearsals.</p> <p>"I was the biggest nerd when I was on <em>Young Talent Time</em>. I was in the library at lunch doing my homework so I could go straight to rehearsals after school," she said during an interview on Tuesday. </p> <p>"I was obsessed with getting good grades and if I didn't finish [my homework] at lunch time I'd have to do it when I got home and I wouldn't sleep till 11pm."</p> <p>Dannii starred in <em>Young Talent Time</em> from 1982 to 1988, as well as <em>Young Talent Time: The Next Generation</em> which was launched in America.</p> <p>Following her six year run on the show, she went on to play the role of Emma Jackson in <em>Home & Away</em> in 1989. </p> <p>She stayed with the Aussie soap for a year before launching her music career, like her famed sister Kylie Minogue, in 1990.</p> <p><em>Young Talent Time</em> featured a core group of young performers who would sing both classic songs and hits of the day while hopefuls competed in a weekly talent quest.</p> <p>The series was hosted by Johnny Young and aired from 1971 to 1988, and proved to be hugely popular after spawning no less than 15 albums and a slew of merchandise. </p> <p><em>Image credits: Seven</em></p>

What a wonderful tribute: Goldie Hawn's incredible Olivia moment

<p dir="ltr">The devastating death of Dame Olivia Newton-John has rocked the world as many sent their condolences to her family.</p> <p dir="ltr">The <em>Grease </em>star “passed away peacefully” at the age of 73 at her Ranch in Southern California surrounded by family.</p> <p dir="ltr">While Olivia’s family has been awash in an outpouring of love, support and shared grief, few tributes produced full-body goosebumps quite like the one shared by the normally highly private and reticent Goldie Hawn.</p> <p dir="ltr">Goldie took to Instagram to share a beautiful musical line-up that featured Olivia, Lily Tomlin, Cher, Bette Midler, Meryl Streep and of course, herself.</p> <p dir="ltr">“A light landed on this planet 73 years ago,” Goldie’s caption read.</p> <p dir="ltr">“Her voice brought us to such joyous heights, nothing held her back, nothing. Why Kylie Minogue's Neighbours finale appearance was so brief

<p><em>Neighbours </em>fans everywhere were beaming with excitement when it was announced that Kylie Minogue would reprise her iconic role as Charlene in the highly-anticipated finale episode of the long-running soap. </p> <p>But when Minogue took to the screen with her TV husband Jason Donovan, fans were left less than impressed with her lack of screen time and dialogue. </p> <p>Between the on-screen couple, they had just a handful of lines, with Minogue - arguably <em>Neighbours</em>' most successful export - uttering just five words: “Home, sweet home”, “Jane!” and “Harold!”</p> <p>Their brief return to Ramsay Street was flimsy in comparison to Guy Pearce's storyline, which ended up being a major plot point for the finale episode. </p> <p>Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment in the finale, with one viewer saying, "Kylie Minogue saying absolutely nothing on the <em>Neighbours </em>finale is genuinely hilarious."</p> <p>Another said, "The <em>Neighbours </em>finale was great and Guy Pearce is an absolute legend for giving it his all. Neighbours final episode plot revealed

<p dir="ltr">The plot of the final episode of <em>Neighbours </em>has been released. </p> <p dir="ltr">The last episode of the beloved Aussie soap will be 90 minutes long and air on Channel 10 and 10 Peach on July 28, bringing an end to the 37 year history of the show. </p> <p dir="ltr">Actors, past and present, such as Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Guy Pearce and Annie Jones will make an appearance in the final episode. </p> <p dir="ltr">A leaked script revealed that Ramsay Street will be filled with friends and family to celebrate Toadie Rebecchi tying the knot with Melanie Pearson, who are played by Ryan Moloney and Lucinda Cowden.</p> <p dir="ltr">Harold, who is played by Ian Smith, asks Karl and Susan Kennedy, played by Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne, to look after the Erinsborough history book.</p> <p dir="ltr">And then Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue, who play Scott and Charlene arrive in a green mini van. </p> <p dir="ltr">No. 24 will also hit the market with more than one person being interested in the property. </p> <p dir="ltr">Other former cast members that will appear Peter O’Brien, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Olympia Valance, Ian Smith, Daniel MacPherson, Melissa Bell, Paul Keane, Bonnie Anderson, Jodi Gordon, Kate Kendall, Scott Major, Ben Hall, Lesley Baker, Nathan Borg, Sally Ann Upton, Morgan Baker, Benjamin McNair, Olivia Junkeer, Chris Milligan, Zima Anderson and James Mason.</p> <p dir="ltr">After 37 years on air, <em>Neighbours </em>announced that the show is coming to an end after Channel 5, the British production company that aired the show in the UK since 2008, announced it won’t do so anymore.</p> <p dir="ltr">“We are so sorry to say that after nearly 37 years and almost 9000 episodes broadcast we have to confirm that Neighbours will cease production in June,” the statement read.</p> <p dir="ltr">“Following the loss of our key broadcast partner in the UK and despite an extensive search for alternative funding, we simply have no option but to rest the show.”</p> <p dir="ltr">The team thanked their loyal fans and promised to end the show on an “incredible high”.</p> <p dir="ltr">“To our amazing, loyal fans, we know this is a huge disappointment, as it is to all of us on the team. </p> <p dir="ltr">“We thank you for all your messages and support and promise to end the show on an incredible high. <p>Kylie Minogue is set to reunite with her ex and former on-screen lover, Jason Donovan, for the upcoming Neighbours grand finale.</p> <p>Minogue will make a return to the popular series 34 years after she left the show to pursue a singing career. Reportedly she and Donovan have already filmed scenes together.</p> <p>Minogue, aged 53, teased her return to the beloved soap on Instagram with her character's name on the Neighbours script – Charlene Mitchell. "Get the tissues ready": Qantas reveals ad kept on shelf for two years

Kylie Minogue reveals advice she'd give to her 25-year-old self

<p>Aussie icon Kylie Minogue has reflected on her decades of success and revealed what she would tell her 25-year-old self.</p><p>Throughout her twenties, Kylie recalls living abroad and working hard on her fifth studio album, which featured her popular hit 'Confide In Me'.</p><p>Speaking to The House of Wellness, the 53-year-old said she'd tell her younger self three things: to try to stress less, to trust her instincts more often and to keep a diary.</p><p>'The 25-year-old me was very busy discovering the world, working a lot, going out a lot and worrying about things which seem trivial to the older me,' she said.</p><p>Kylie started out on the television drama Neighbours in 1986 and went on to become Australia's highest-selling female music artist. Today she resides in London and is in a relationship with creative director Paul Solomons. It is anticipated she will return to Australia later this year to reunite with family.</p><p>She also still has busy schedule but maintains a healthy work-life balance.</p><p>To protect her voice, Kylie focuses on wellness and being as healthy as possible when she's not performing.</p><p>'My focus is to stay as well as possible, so I eat well, rest when I can and don't go to noisy environments as talking over noise is literally the worst for a singer,' she said.</p><p>'I try to do my best to save my energy and health for the show.'</p><p>In 2020 Kylie released her 15th studio album titled 'Disco', which is a music genre she says has been part of her life since age 10.</p><p><em>Image: Instagram</em></p>

Kylie Minogue sells treasured home

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kylie Minogue has quietly sold her home in Armadale, Victoria, after owning it for more than 30 years.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The pop icon, now based in London, sold the property on Cambridge St for $1.715 million.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Minogue bought the two-bedroom house in 1990 for $185,000, according to CoreLogic, and has leased it to various tenants since about 1993.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The property, described as a “Cambridge gem” in the listing, has a period-style white weatherboard exterior with a lace-fringed verandah, and a cosy courtyard.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Inside, the home counts Baltic pine floors, high ceilings, open fireplaces with decorative mantels, and an arched entrance hallway among its perks.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The house has also been updated with ducted heating and a video intercom.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Minogue now lives in a $25 million penthouse at London’s One Hyde Park, which has been named the world’s most expensive apartment building.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The star sold the 214-square metre property at the end of February this year.</span></p> <p><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">Images: Kylie Minogue / Instagram, realestate.com.au</span></em></p>

<p>Dannii Minogue has shot down rumours her sister Kylie Minogue is engaged to her Welsh boyfriend Paul Solomons.</p> <p>The rumours were sparked in February when Solomons' stepmother, Gloria Solomons, who has been married to his father Mark for three decades, spoke to a UK tabloid.</p> <p>Speaking to the Daily Mail, Gloria said: “She’s very nice, I’m thrilled they’re engaged. It’s very exciting."</p> <p>Kylie later sent out a tweet, making it very clear that they are in fact not engaged, saying the rumours were "getting out of hand".</p> <p>When asked on Sunrise whether her sister was preparing to tie the knot, Dannii said: “There’s no news, but we absolutely adore him and they’re a divine couple."</p> <p>The 50-year-old revealed she has spent a lot of time with her sister recently as the singer moved back to Australia from London to escape coronavirus.</p> <p>“We were crossing paths the last two years, as I would arrive she would leave, and we’ve just got to spend so much good time together,” she said.</p> <p>Dannii described her sibling’s other half as a “gorgeous, beautiful dude” and said that if he does pop the question, she’d love to be part of the wedding.</p> <p>“I’ve walked down the aisle before, so if there is a wedding, I know what to do, I know where to go!”</p> <p>Kylie has been dating Paul Solomons, the 46-year-old British<span> </span><em>GQ</em><span> </span>magazine creative director, since 2018.</p>

My heart goes out to our friends and family in Oz”.</p> <p>However, the campaign that has caught the most attention is run by comedian Celeste Barber, as her campaign has currently raised $45 million for the Trustee for the NSW Rural Fire Service and Brigades Donation Fund.</p> <p>The fund is managed by a group of trustees, according to<span> </span><em>SBS</em>, who have significant experience with the NSW RFS.</p> <p>"The purpose of the trust is to make available to brigades the ability to accept tax-deductible donations, both in person and online, with as little administrative burden as possible," its <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0004/95062/NSW-RFS-and-Brigade-Donations-Fund-DGR-Trustees-Annual-Report-2017-2018-....PDF" target="_blank">most recent annual report says</a>.</p> <p>"It was established and is operated solely for the purpose of supporting the volunteer-based fire and emergency service activities of the brigades."</p> <p>The NSW RFS said that they are focusing on the ongoing bush fire emergency before even thinking about spending the money. They said in a statement to SBS:</p> <p>"The NSW RFS is focused on the ongoing bush fire emergency that continues to affect communities across NSW. We are continuing work to slow the spread of fires, establish containment lines, conduct building impact assessments and return residents to their communities as soon as possible," a spokesperson said.</p> <p>"It's important that our members, who know what's best for their brigades and communities, have a say in the use of donated funds."</p> <p>"Once the bush fire emergency eases, the NSW RFS will work with senior volunteers and brigades to ensure donated funds are used for the greatest benefit of our members and their communities."</p> <p><em>OverSixty, its parent company and its owners are donating a total of $200,000 to the Vinnie’s Bushfire Appeal. Kylie Minogue reveals intimate details on fiery fling with Michael Hutchence

<p>Australian pop star Kylie Minogue has shared intimate details of her intense relationship with INXS frontman Michael Hutchence between 1989 and 1991 for the documentary<span> </span>Mystify: Michael Hutchence.</p> <p>The film shows love letters from the young couple sent to eachother by fax while touring, as well as never before seen footage of the two sharing intimate moments.</p> <p>Minogue spoke about the moment Hutchence broke her heart, just as she knew he would.</p> <p>“The room was dark, the curtains were drawn, he was on all fours on the floor, crying,” she said of the moment.</p> <p>“Was it work, was it the drugs? I don't know. He was like a broken man.”</p> <p>While the heartbreak took a long time get over, the pop princess says she knew it would happen even when the pair were loved up and sending each other secret love letters while in different parts of the world. </p> <p>Both touring consistently, the couple would fax one another from their hotel rooms using the aliases Gabby Jones and Swordfish. </p> <p>“Jones was my mother's maiden name and Gabby was my dog. He was swordfish, well, just because.”</p> <p>They hoped the secret code names would prevent receptionists and hotel staff from reading their love letters.</p> <p>“Sex, love, food, drugs, music, travel, books, you name it, he wanted to experience it,” Minogue said of their insense relationship. </p> <p>“As his partner I got to experience a lot of that as well. If you're a sensual being, all of your senses need stimulation. He definitely awakened my desire for things in my world.”</p> <p>The documentary featured never-before-seen footage of Hutchence and Minogue during their few years together.</p> <p>One clip showed the pop star naked along with others of the pair on a boat during a romantic holiday.</p> <p>Minogue said the public perception that she was a “pure, good girl dating this dark, bad boy” was accurate, but despite it all, she felt “safe with him”.</p> <p>“I felt protected. He had insatiable curiosity, all the good things in life and some the bad.</p> <p>“He opened up a whole new world for me. A lot of it was based around pleasure, let's face it.”</p> <p>The whirlwind romance, Kylie says, was never built to last.</p> <p>“It felt loving, yet sad and probably doomed. We talked through things and I couldn't give you an actual reason [as to why it happened]. </p> <p>“I left pretty confounded and destroyed and I knew that was...that was it. Yeah, he broke my heart. I have to confess, the hurt stays for quite a long time,” she said. </p> <p>After the breakup, Minogue went on to have a series of high profile relationships with actors and stars.</p> <p>Hutchence also went on to find love with British television personality Paula Yates.</p> <p>Together the couple had a daughter, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily in 1996.</p> <p>Sadly, just one year later, Hutchence was found hanging by his snakeskin belt in his Sydney hotel room while on holiday in Australia.</p> <p>Three years later, on September 17 2000, Yates was found dead in her home. Realistically, you're getting to the late side of things," she told the newspaper.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Minogue admitted that "it changed everything," and although it wasn’t in her immediate plans to have children, it was difficult to hear.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">"I don't want to dwell on it, obviously, but I wonder what that would have been like.
